Senate District 41 Convention
In late February, 2008, all delegates and alternates elected at the 2008 precinct caucus will receive an official “Call” or invitation to the 2008 Senate District 41 Convention to be held on March 8th at the Southview Middle School auditorium in Edina. The official purpose of the Convention is to endorse candidates for election in House Districts 41A and 41B. In addition, delegates amd alternates will be elected to the 3rd Congressional and State conventions. The Convention will begin promptly at 9:00 AM with doors opening at 8:15 for registration and closes at 9:30 AM. Morning refreshments will also be served so it is a great time to meet and talk with your Republican neighbors before the Convention is called to order. Cost of the Convention is $12.00 for preregistered attendees or $15.00 at the door. An optional box lunch can be purchased for $8 with preregistrations only
During the Convention, we can expect to hear from many of our elected officials and State party leaders as they visit the session. This is also time to honor the many Senate District volunteers who contribute so much of their time and energy to make this the most outstanding district in the state.
