Television Personality Cyndy Brucato from KSTP will speak at Oct. 23rd Full Committee Dinner Meeting
Cyndy Brucato from KSTP, Channel 5 Eyewitness News will be the guest speaker at the next Senate District 41 Republican Dinner Meeting on
October 23 at Calvary Lutheran Church, located at 6817 Antrim Road in Edina.
Cyndy Brucato currently anchors the 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM editions of Eyewitness News. She returned to the air in May 2004 after previously  working at KSTP TV between 1979 and 1986. During her tenure at KSTP TV, Cyndy received the Peabody Award for Excellence in Journalism. Before rejoining 5 Eyewitness News, Cyndy spent eight years as President and Chief Consultant of Brucato & Halliday Ltd., a Minnesota-based public relations company. Her business was certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, the nation’s leading advocate of women-owned businesses.
Prior to launching Brucato & Haliday Ltd., Cyndy worked in government.and politics. From 1990-1996 she served as Deputy Chief of Staff, Director.of Communications and Press Secretary for Minnesota Governor Arne H. Carlson. She also served as Director of Communication for the Minnesota.Department of Transportation and Communications Director for Republican Norm Coleman when he successfully ran for the Senate office.
The evening social hour will start at 6 PM with an $8 dinner donation for adults and $4 for students. Dinner will be served at 6:30 PM. District announcements will be made at 7 PM and Cyndy Brucato introduced at 7:30 PM.
